What health insurance does APTF accept?
APTF is an Out-Of-Network Provider for all physical therapy services. We provide medical claim forms for our patients to submit to their medical insurance company for reimbursement purposes.
Do I need a Doctor’s Prescription for PT Services?
No you do not need a doctor’s prescription for physical therapy services in California! Direct Access is a bill that was first passed in 1968 and ammended in 2013 allowing Doctors of Physical Therapy to treat patients without seeing a primary care physician with these provisions; 12 visits or 45 days whichever comes first.
