What health insurance does APTF accept?

APTF accepts Blue Shield as an In-Network Provider for physical therapy services. We provide medical claim forms for our out-of-network patients to submit to their medical insurance company for reimbursement purposes.

Do I need a Doctor’s Prescription for PT Services?

No you do not need a doctor’s prescription for physical therapy services in California! Direct Access is a bill that was first passed in 1968 and ammended in 2013 allowing Doctors of Physical Therapy to treat patients without seeing a primary care physician with these provisions; 12 visits or 45 days whichever comes first.

What is your business best at providing?

Besides always offering 1 on 1, friendly, prompt, and quality service... Chelle and Tarah can concisely treat all joints related to the musculoskeletal system. Chelle has gained post-graduate physical therapy education and clinical expertise treating the neck, thoracic spine, and low back pain. Tarah has extra experience with pediatrics, neurological impairments, and sports related issues. Tarah’s Yoga is arguably the best Intermediate Vinyasa flows in the Lake Arrowhead region.

Where is APTF located?

We currently provide telehealth, online videos, telephone consults, and will come to you when able for all of your physical therapy and fitness needs. Our yoga classes are located at contracted facilities in the Lake Arrowhead region listed under the “Yoga Class Schedule” on the Home page.

Is APTF covered by Liability Insurance?

Yes we have Professional Liability Insurance with Berxi and we have General Liability insurance with ProSight Direct. If you would like a copy please contact us directly.
