Tarah Sparkman, PT, DPT has been practicing physical therapy since 2017, she has been a renown certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor since 2005, and a personal trainer in the mountain community since 2003. Tarah graduated with honors in 2011 from California State University of San Bernardino with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology, (Exercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy). She then graduated with honors in 2017 from Loma Linda University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. With such experience and background in human movement, Tarah excels in healthy human movement, with a therapeutic touch. As an athlete, she can relate to sports performance and related rehabilitation. She has experience working with children of all ages and impairments and became a paneled California Children’s Services (CCS) provider in April 2019. Tarah conducted published human research for physical therapy at Loma Linda Research Center in 2016-2019. In addition, she assisted with the conduction of published research studies involving human performance, at CSUSB research center in 2010-2011. Tarah attained her Clinical Instructor certification in January 2019. She attended the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in 2016 and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association Professional Organization since 2015.

Laura Medina, PTA is a long time resident of the mountain community. She has been a Physical Therapy Assistant for 20 years and is a graduate of Loma Linda University. She has been a practitioner of Yoga and Pilates and loves to blend these types of activities into her training sessions. She has a rich history of working with many different types of individuals and age groups, and is especially experienced with working with the geriatric population. She looks forward to helping you reach your goals and achieve better strength, balance, flexibility and overall wellness.
